The Birds of Prey will need to help of one of the city's greatest criminals.
The team is trying to figure out what happened to Calculator's family and all signs point that Catwoman is connected to it.
This story continues and does it in an adequate way at least.
Julie and Shawna Benson deliver a new chapter where they include Catwoman into the mix this time. Characterization-wise, this issue is pretty on-point since there's nothing particularly wrong about the portrayals here, Selina acts the way you would expect and is still presented in a morally gray way. Mind you, there's nothing particularly unique about it but I'll get to that.
The story progresses at a nice pacing and the interactions between the characters is entertaining. Plus, yet another classic character appears here and hopefully her story with the team will be explored once again.
Roge Antonio handles art and is decent although at times it looked like it lacked certain polish, the storytelling is clear though.
The thing is that while there's nothing particularly bad about this issue, there's nothing I would call "great" either. It gets the job done but doesn't offer much beyond that. Let's see how the story concludes.
