The Lost Light continues lost.
The Functionist's plans concerning Rung are about to come to fruition unless Rodimus and his team do something although some of them might have other plans.
Good stuff here but I'm starting to notice some problems.
For one, I do enjoy the amount of character work that James Roberts is able to inject here. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE receive solid moments of characterization that manage to progress their own sub-plots, special mention to Megatron whose character continues to be one of the most fascinating aspects of this book while others like Anode also receive surprising developments.
That being said, I feel like this particular story is taking too long. The Functionist Universe has been teased for a while in the last book but I don't think they're interesting enough to justify to spend so many issues in them, particularly because the story itself is not that engaging.
Jack Lawrence remains in art duties and his work is still quite adequate for the title thanks to the fluidity of his characters.
Solid but I wish this story would end already.
