Archie is about to fight his rival once again.
Just when Archie thought that everything was going fine between Veronica, Betty and him, Reggie decided to challenge him to a race which could put their lives in peril.
This was simple yet effective.
Mark Waid brings a new chapter where he continues the usual fun Archie adventures with the classic focus on his love life. The characterization is pretty solid thanks to the enjoyable interactions between the three main characters, Archie, Betty and Veronica which shows how their relationship has progressed over the course of the story.
Then again, Reggie appears to ruin everything once again. I must say this, despite that I understand that Waid wants to make Reggie as unlikable as possible, I wish he gave the character a bit more depth instead of presenting as an one-dimensional villain since those kind of tropes become tiring after a while. Still, the story itself take some interesting twists here and there despite of not having a particularly complex premise.
Pete Woods handles the artwork and is really solid with expressive characters and a clean style.
Enjoyable aside from a few nitpicks. Hope the next one arrives soon.
