Some thoughts about World's Finest #15

Who is controlling the greatest minds in the world?

The mystery of the murder of Simon Stagg has taken the team to find out a group of scientist who are working for the mastermind behind this case.

This was a bit of a mid chapter but not necessarily bad.

Mark Waid offers a new installment where he progresses his ongoing plot and I can't help but feel like some of the directions the plot takes are a bit underwhelming. There's quite a bit of fun thanks to the classic Silver Age-like shenanigans that Waid implements like the appearance of classic heroes like the Doom Patrol, the Challengers of the Unknown and Metal Men, not to mention a group of mad scientists who are working together. That's enjoyable all right.

The problem is that all of this seems a bit chaotic and almost like Waid is doing a completely different story from where he started. We're not really progressing much the case that was presented early on and one of the main antagonists is just a "stronger" version of an already known villain, is just not too exciting as a whole.

Dan Mora remains in art duties and his work remains great thanks to his energetic style that depicts every action scene perfectly.

Kinda average overall, hope the next one is better.
