Some thoughts about Transformers #49

The war is about to happen once again if someone doesn't stop it first.

Galvatron's plans have come into fruition and everyone is suffering the consequences. Now Optimus will be forced to make desperate choice for the future of the planet.

Once again, I still enjoy everything about this.

John Barber brings the final chapter of the Conquerors storyarc by developing a lot of the plot-points he has created recently and giving them the logical next step for the upcoming storyline All Hail Optimus. Is great to see how everything is coming together and makes me excited for the new status quo of the series.

The characterization is also pretty good. I enjoy a lot of the members from the cast like Soundwave,  Cosmos, Galvatron and pretty much everyone appearing here since all of them play an important role in the plot and their personalities are nicely showcased.

Sara Pitre-Durocher returns to art duties and her work is still one of the best things about the book with beautiful and expressive characters and solid storytelling.

Entertaining chapter. Now let's see how the next arc unfolds.
