Some thoughts about The Transformers: Robots in Disguise #36

Can Spike Witwicky escape from the person he betrayed?

Prowl is still trying to caught Spike due to what he did the last time they met and he will need the assistance of the Constructicons to do so. However, he's not the only one looking for the human.

The Days of Deception storyline continues with some really interesting developments.

John Barber brings a lot of plot-points that he created at the beginning of this series, especifically the ones focusing on the dynamic between Prowl and Spike and how both of them react to what happened in the past. The conclusion of this issue is especially surprising considering what was stated before.

Plus, I need to mention that I really like the portrayal of Prowl in this series. While in the other ongoing, More than Meets the Eye, Prowl is portrayed as a complete prick, in this book he's actually a bit more undestandable. He's still cold and calculating but not as unlikable.

The rest of the cast also receive good moments. Jimmy Pink is entertaining while Thundercracker remains as one of best incarnations of the Decepticon.

Andrew Griffith is on art duties and his work is beautiful with really expressive and good looking characters and great action scenes.

Excellent issue, really enjoying this series so far.

... What? Yes, I'm covering Transformers from now on, I really like the direction of the comics.
